Publicly Interested Careers Fair

Every year, the Social Justice portfolio hosts a lunchtime Public Interest Careers Fair in the Law Foyer. This event has grown to become one of the largest and most pivotal events in the portfolio calendar, with dozens of public interest and social justice legal organisations attending. Hundreds of students are given the opportunity to meet with representatives to learn about volunteer, PLT and graduate opportunities. The event usually takes place in late Semester 1.

The Fair is complemented by a series of lunchtime careers presentations in Semester 2, where individual organisations have the change to inform students about volunteering, PLT and graduate information in a more specific and detailed way.

SULS is always looking to expand the number of organisations at both events to give students access to information on broad career pathways.
