Equity Schemes

Textbook Loan Scheme

The Textbook Loan Scheme allows students experiencing financial disadvantage to borrow required textbooks for compulsory units, and limited elective units. Given in memory of Walter Reid, a student and a graduate of the Faculties of Arts and Law in the University of Sydney, students are required to pay a $40 bond per textbook which will be returned after their loan period. Please read the Textbook Loan Policy for information on eligibility criteria and loan conditions.

If you would like to apply for the textbook loan scheme for Semester 2 2025, please use the link below. Applications open on Monday 21 July 2025, and close on Sunday 13 August 2025.
